I refuse to believe that anyone can really characterize themselves in a couple of paragraphs on a website. I could start with where I work or something like that, but that kind of thing has always bored me. Instead I'll say that I love to live life. I am crazy about my family and my friends and even complete strangers. It's pretty safe to say that I am a complete extrovert. I love to do new things and old favorite things, but it's all pointless unless you've got someone to share it with. I'd rather do something very boring with my friends than something thrilling by myself.

I love to have conversations (serious or not) and debates (serious or not). I like to communicate; my friends say (endearingly and sometimes not-so-endearingly) that I talk a lot; I admit it freely, I do.

So what do I do beside these things? Well let's see.... I recently became a huge racquetball addict, I've been playing two to three times a week for the past few months. I enjoy watching a very select few TV shows, but other than that the TV isn't on. After owning it for years, I've finally decided to learn to play guitar; but don't get any ideas about a seranade, I still pretty much suck, but I am getting better.

I love to read; I have a problem where I try to read too many books at once and just end up getting confused about where I was in which book. I love music, always have, though just in the last few years have I gotten into live music so I've been trying to make up for the lost opportunities over the years.

I'm a wannabe chef, actually that's not true, I'm a wannabe baker. If I had any sort of quarter-life crisis I would quit my job and go to culinary school to become a pastry chef. I really do love to bake and regularly buy 10 pound bags of flour.

I am understanding and sincere, generous and forgiving, fun and fun-loving.

I'm a pretty big day-dreamer. I'd like to think it's being productive. I am one with nature, except spiders, they should probably leave me alone forever. And some moths, they're pretty much a spider with wings, especially after watching phantoms which is a horrible movie. I'm like a horrible movie. Overall, I guess I'm pretty okay. Participating in sports is better than watching, and I enjoy skiing, SCUBA diving, football, track, hockey, ultimate frisbee, soccer, canoeing, hiking, and swimming. Hmmm. Well, I guess I try not to do anything REALLY outlandish, but I DO like to have fun. I like traveling to new places, and doing things I've never done before as long as it doesn't mean jail time. (Kidding, but not really). I love movies, being outdoors, and I like kids alot, but never had any of my own. So I sometimes borrow a friend's to go see a movie, or fly a kite now and then. People say I'm more of a deep thinker because they wonder how I think of things, but I'm not one of those strange quiet types, and sometimes I like to just laugh or joke around. Recently my life has been all work; I anticipate being able to cut back in the near future though. I have a son who I keep a close eye on when he is not in school, but he spends a lot of time in extracurricular activities and with his friends. Life is so much simpler since he got a cell phone and car. I know he won't be around much longer since he will leave for college this fall. I am looking to get to know a person so that when the time comes, my son will leave and I will have someone beside me to help celebrate (I don't want is to sit home alone and cry by myself).

Once upon a time there was a storyteller. Don't be confused by the name, his stories were not evil, malicious, or lies. He was a huge romantic and pined away for love that would one day come, he waited for a such a long time eventually settling for something less then ideal (a big mistake), after that he raised his preferences so high that no one could ever reach them again. This is when he realized his mistakes. He had cut himself off from everyone because there is no perfect person. It's time the storyteller learned to accept people and hope someone else had learned the same lesson and was willing to meet half way .

You see the Storyteller had 2 very important dreams... to own a home and to have someone to care about. The Storyteller had worked very hard to accomplish his first goal, by saving his money and avoiding certain traps along the way. But this left the Storyteller with only a few friends and little desires to go to the local pub and pick up on girls. The Storytellers future partner would never be found in a place like that, he knew. So the storyteller has now found okcupid.completing his dreams.

Hehe ..ok I've had a bit of fun and perhaps I rambled longer then I should have....But when you realize how many people fill these things out and consider the rare ability to stand out, you got to let go and try and have a little fun and be original : )

I am a bricklayer by trade. I try to do as much side work as I can so can afford to play some golf in the spring and summer. I winter at the YMCA!! I love to play racquetball or basketball in the winter. I wouldnt say I was a sports nut but I do enjoy freindly competition! I used to be alot more competitive but I guess you could say I have mellowed with age. When the weather is nice I have been known to do a few things around the house and yard. I built an addition and deck off the back of my house last year. I have lived in Mentor, Ohio for four years. I have been an eastsider my whole life, but I know the westside enough to get around. If you have seen me before it was probably at Lino's which has been my hangout for more than a few years. Or else Burgers and Beer in downtown Willoughby on Mondays after racquetball! I like to read and I like to write. I like to listen and I will talk to anyone about anything at anytime as long as its not just the same old BS!

I'm 26, looking for a new relationship. Don't worry, doesn't have to start too serious too fast. Willing to take it slow. I am a Heating and air conditioning technician. I enjoy naps, weird azn horror movies, graphic novels, baking, and hugs. I tend to cancel plans to stay home and watch TLC or play the sims. I'm super sarcastic and pretty messy. I read a ton and love soyjoys. I am filled with random knowledge, and almost always have something to share. I am a total girl, and can easily drop a ton at the local Ulta store and its sad, really. I think that I'm really nice, and I'm basically an open book.

I'm bored. This is free. So I will write, and you will likely lose interest.

I enjoy learning about life from those more experinced than I. I have always found it helps to learn from others' mistakes. It also softens the blow when crappy things happen. I do the same with history.

I love music. Specifically, honest music. I don't find much on the radio; I stick to my own collection. I find new material on youtube. I hate the music industry. I hate most things with the word "industry" tacked on the end. It only serves to tell me that the primary goal of the product is to make money. Puke. But, back to music. From Bach to Sorabji. I love most of them. Some jazz, some country(y'know, real country), some rock. I can tell when someone is truly expressing something from the heart. Tell Miley Cirus to f*** off with this "The Climb" BS. I might like the song better if someone who's been sh*t on were singing it.

I'm starting to dabble in poetry. I like John Keats. Very...well, I don't have a word for it. Read Ode to a Nightingale and see what I mean:

I like sports; I love hockey. Red Wings. Penguins die.

I like to read history books.

I love to listen to people's opinions about most politcal, scientific, and religious topics. I like to challenge their beliefs, and I like them to challenge mine. All in good fun of course. I never seek to change someone's perspective, but I always encourage them to experience another one.

My two cats are crazy. They are a product of their environment.
